Many antennas intended for use at 2.4GHz will operate well at 5 GHz if matching network and driven elements are both of conventional design and thinwire conflict does not exist.

For example:  The 18dbi gain of a true Yagi at posted freq of 2.4 GHz should be 17-18dbi or above at 5GHz depending on the 3 above factors.

Exception to this rule:  Helix antennas:   For Helix antennas, the element spacings will produce a narrow-band peak gain and the operating gain at 5GHz will be very low:  Helix antennas generally will probably operate with insufficient gain at 5GHz.
