Linux drivers can be found on madwifi.org and are included in many Linux distributions.
Linux comes with a utility called iwconfig, that lets you change modes on the wireless cards.

Ok, all of you Ubuntu Linux users. The Alfa AWUS036H adapter sold here is wonderful. I plugged it into my Ububtu 9.10 2.6.31- 22 Generic, and my Ubuntu 10.04 2.6.32 – 24 Generic and have had no problems. I’m using the Gnome with the network manager. I have my router set to WPA Personal it all works. This is one card to consider.
